Description
Nuts are available for Remington (“Remage”) and Savage barrels in black hardcoat anodized finish. Your action brand and model will dictate which thread style barrel and, therefore, barrel nut is needed. The steel threads on your barrel and in your action are the load bearing surfaces, while the barrel nut simply locks the barrel in place so it doesn’t rotate accidentally. It’s a lock nut!
